Gobeshona Global Conference 2024 - making locally-led adaptation accountable

In March, we led a workshop at Gobeshona Global Conference on monitoring locally-led adaptation and resilience. Our sessions focussed on accountability in the context of adaptation interventions in South Asia. We brought together a panel of early-career researchers to discuss the challenges and opportunities for building new and innovative forms of accountability. We also heard from Dharam Raj Uprety, our key note speaker and climate and resilience lead at Practical Action in Nepal. The discussion was chaired by our post-doctoral research fellow Biraj who navigated a brilliant conversation around vital next steps in addressing accountability in adaptation. Thanks to all who participated!
