Roundtable on global goal on adaptation

Roundtable with Practical Action

Next steps on the global goal for adaptation

We convened a roundtable of researchers and civil society at UCL on the Global Goal on Adaptation (GGA) with Practical Action to explore diverse perspectives on negotiations to date and brainstorm future aspirations for accountability and ambition in the GGA’s next steps. The roundtable sought to go beyond long-standing negotiating positions to ask what needs to happen to ensure adaptation is really benefiting those facing difficult choices. We brought together researchers and practitioners to focus on the forthcoming UAE-Belem indicator work programme to discuss potential areas for intervention.
