Collaborating to develop a game playing with time

Accountable Adaptation team members, Susannah Fisher and Aishath Green, collaborated with Peter Bray (University of Reading), and Panagiotis Papadopoulos (University of Manchester) to develop a project, “Playing with Time in the Climate Crisis: Gaming the Future,” an innovative board game concept tackling the complexities of climate change across different timescales.

This collaboration began at Crucible London 2023, where their interdisciplinary discussions led to Pump Prime funding and a partnership with Coney HQ to develop the game. The project has brought together perspectives from archaeology, politics, and engineering, resulting in a unique resource designed to spark conversations among students and policymakers.
